International Exhibition "Kazakh Women in Steppe Culture" Opened at the Archive

On June 12, Kaunas State Regional Archives opened the international exhibition “The Role of Woman in the Kazakh Steppe Culture“. The exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Kazakh Central State Archive of Film, Photographic Documents and Sound Recordings.

The archive’s Deputy Director, Saule Satayeva, attended the opening event and introduced the exhibition, which features the photographs reflecting the everyday lives of Kazakh women from the late 19th century to the mid-20th century.
